KRA Issues 30-Day Notice to Traders and Importers
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced plans to auction thousands of goods held at the Naivasha Inland Container Depot (ICD) and other customs warehouses after their owners failed to collect them within the required period. In a notice published on Friday, November 6, KRA listed 1,472 packages of mineral fibre ceiling materials and ceiling grids held at the Naivasha ICD, warning that the consignment would be treated as abandoned unless the required customs procedures were completed and the goods removed within 30 days.
