“Egypt and Bahrain are seeking to expand trade, increase investment and strengthen economic cooperation,” Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said on Thursday November 5, 2026. His remarks came during the third meeting of the Bahrain-Egypt Government Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, held in Egypt’s New Capital and co-chaired by Kouchouk and Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
