Killing of Ghanaians in the US: Let's help Ghana become economically strong to keep Ghanaians here - Victor Smith
Given the struggles of some Ghanaians living abroad, there is a need for all Ghanaians to help the government build the local economy so that Ghanaians can remain in the country to work. Ambassador Smith invited successful Ghanaians in the diaspora to return home to invest and create jobs for the youth. "We need to help Ghana become economically strong so that we can create opportunities for people to live better lives here," he said on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday, November 7. Victor Smith further cautioned Ghanaians who travel to the United States to be careful about the environment they choose to live in. His caution follows the killing of Ghanaians in the US.
