LOCAL ELECTIONS 2026: ActionSA takes township wards from the ANC in Gauteng

ActionSA will likely merge as the second-largest party in Tshwane and the third-largest in Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni. See where they’ve grown since 2021. ActionSA has made significant inroads into traditionally ANC-supporting townships across Gauteng, on track to be the leading party in 54 wards across Johannesburg, Tshwane and Ekurhuleni in the 2026 local government elections.
