Iyambo appointed Gambling Board chairperson
Eliaser Iyambo, Deputy Chief of Operations at the Windhoek City Police Service, has been appointed chairperson of the Gambling Board of Namibia for a three-year term running from November 2026 to October 2029. Iyambo brings more than 26-years of experience in law enforcement, public safety, criminal justice, legal practice and corporate governance. He has served as deputy at the Windhoek City Police Service since October 2023, overseeing five operational departments, including Crime Prevention and Property Protection. His responsibilities include operational planning, performance management and institutional accountability.
