Desert Queens, Hope FC ready for Super League challenge
Desert Queens FC and Hope FC are preparing for a new challenge as they enter the 2026/27 FNB Women’s Super League, with both newly promoted sides looking to establish themselves among the country’s top women’s football clubs. The two teams earned promotion after successful campaigns in their respective regional leagues and will now face a different level of competition as they make their debut in the top-flight. Desert Queens, representing the Erongo region, will begin their campaign against African Stars Queens FC at the Independence Stadium in Oshakati, while Hope FC from the Oshana region face Mighty Angels at the Serverin K.G.A Stadium in the same town.
