International Volunteer Organisation Launches Maternal, Child Health Project in Northern Uganda
The Association of Volunteers in International Service (AVSI) Foundation Uganda has joined partners in rolling out a new health project aimed at improving maternal, child and cancer healthcare services in Northern Uganda. The project, known as PRISMA, is an acronym for Prevention, Research and Integrated Services for Maternal, Child and Cancer Health Care. It seeks to strengthen healthcare delivery through improved access to services, medical training, research and institutional capacity-building.
