Ugandans Urged to Embrace Saving Culture, Government Empowerment Programmes
The Microfinance Support Centre (MSC) has urged believers across Uganda to embrace a culture of saving, form organised groups and take advantage of government empowerment programmes to improve their livelihoods and fight poverty. The call was made during the Kampala 4 Christ Crusade 2026, organised by All Saints Cathedral at Old Kampala Playground in Kampala. Tadeo Atuhura, the Head of Communications at the Microfinance Support Centre, encouraged believers to organise themselves into groups to improve their chances of accessing start-up capital and other financial support to establish income-generating activities.
