GAF instructor criticises Sam George for naming a lieutenant in Ningo-Prampram
A Ghana Armed Forces physical training instructor has criticised Communications Minister Sam George for naming a lieutenant and warning soldiers who return to Ningo-Prampram that they will face the streets. Twumasi Barimah, the instructor known as Commander General, spoke in a video circulating on Wednesday, November 4. Reports use "Commander General" as a nickname and do not identify him as an Armed Forces spokesperson. The minister, who is also MP for Ningo-Prampram, had accused Lieutenant Albert Goh of leading soldiers who seized residents' trucks and called for his dismissal. That allegation has not been ruled on. Barimah said the minister should have established who gave the order before he spoke.
