HoR holds first-ever session in Sebha - votes unanimously to establish a refinery in south Libya
The House of Representatives (HoR) voted unanimously to establish an oil refinery for the south of Libya. The decision reinforces the decision already made by the Tripoli based Libyan government The vote and decision took place in today's first ever offocial HoR session held in the southern city of Sebha, the capital of Libya's south. The session was chaired by the Speaker of the House, Al-Saliheen Abdel-Nabi, with the attendance of the First Deputy Speaker, Tariq Al-Ashtar, and the Second Deputy Speaker, Misbah Douma. According to the Official HoR Spokesperson, Abdala Bleihaq, the Speaker delivered an address during the session, expressing his pleasure at meeting in Sebha—the vibrant heart of Libya’s south.
