Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, cheered the country’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, during their final match against Japan at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. In a video shared on social media, the First Lady was seen watching the match from her residence, cheering the players and applauding their performance. She was also heard chanting, “Nigeria! Nigeria!” as the team battled Japan for the trophy.
