Maydadka Askarta Soomaaliya oo la sheegay in ay ka baxeen 10 Maalmood kadib markii ay isku dhaceen Alshabaab
Mogadishu (HOL) — A Somali security analyst has called for the burial of government soldiers killed in last month's fighting with al-Shabab near Buurhakaba, alleging that some bodies remained along the roadside 10 days after the deadly battle. Samira Gaid, a regional security analyst with Balqiis Insights, criticized political leaders Friday over the treatment of soldiers killed in the Oct. 26 clashes in the Jameeco area of Bay region. “It is the most heartbreaking thing to witness ten days after Jameeco, the bodies of slain troops still lie by the side of the road while the leaders who sent them on this fateful mission celebrate elsewhere,” Gaid wrote on X.
