Garissa locals express mixed reactions over state projects
Garissa residents have expressed mixed reactions to ongoing national government development projects in the county. During a public engagement forum at the Government Guest House, residents acknowledged the development efforts of President William Ruto's administration. However, they raised concerns over gaps that need to be addressed to ensure the programmes benefit all members of the community. Among the key issues raised was the need to make public facilities disability-friendly. Representatives of persons with disabilities warned that some government buildings and institutions remain inaccessible despite increased investment in public infrastructure.
