Soomaaliya oo Itoobiya uga digtay xasilooni darrada ay wiiqi karto howlgallada amniga AUSSOM
Mogadishu (HOL) - Somalia warned Thursday that worsening political and security instability in neighboring Ethiopia could affect security operations inside Somalia, including the African Union mission fighting al-Shabab. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali Mohamed Omar Balcad, told TRT World that Ethiopia’s stability was directly linked to Somalia’s security because of the countries’ long shared border and deep economic, social and historical ties. Ethiopian troops remain a significant component of AUSSOM. The African Union approved a contingent of about 2,500 Ethiopian troops for the mission, alongside forces from Uganda, Kenya, Djibouti and Egypt.
